Jim Bernstein started in harness racing under the tutelage of hall of famer, Stanley Dancer. His training and driving careers ended prematurely due to a racing accident. Besides being the leading driver at the inaugural Monticello Raceway winter meet, Jim had amassed more than 150 wins racing at: Yonkers, Roosevelt, Freehold, Pompano, Rockingham, Dover Downs, Liberty Bell, Brandywine, Foxboro, Green Mountain, Atlantic City, Georgetown and Lincoln Downs.
While never really leaving harness racing, Jim has pursued successful careers as an executive business manager and business consultant. Now Jim is combining those skills to put together a unique racing partnership deal with his friend and business partner, George Teague, Jr., that will enable harness racing fans to partner with one of the most successful trainers in all of harness racing.
